Nets sign Jay Williams to a nonguaranteed contract
"The Nets today will announce the signing of guard Jay Williams to a nonguaranteed contract, extending his chances of resuming his career in his home state."
Guess he caved on getting that guaranteed cash he was looking for.

J-WILL wasn't so great his rookie season....
Such wonderful memories.. Like when J Will's parents whined to the newspapers about how playing time and so forth.... How he hurt himself getting into a scrap with Jamal Crawford in practice.... Ahh, the good old days.
I love Cartwright, and have even met him in person, but he made things worse by not letting J Will and Crawford play together in the backcourt, insisting they were both point guards... In reality, probably NEITHER was
a true point guard. Just a couple of show off-me-first-ballhogs!
Oh the good old days.
If only we could get both of those guys back to play the 1 and the 2, E-Rob at the three, Fizer at the 4, and good Ol Dalibor at the 5, and we'd have ourselves a team! The Jerry Krause All Stars!
