'06-'07 Schedule Announced

The Bulls announced their schedule:

http://www.nba.com/bulls/schedule/

I will add it to my Bulls schedule tonight:

http://www.itoph.com/html/chicago_bulls.html

It allows many calendar clients to see the schedule, without everyone having to enter the details themselves.

My page doesn't specifically say it, but, these calendars are also available in Google calendar.

I welcome any comments/ideas for improvement.

Chris

Excellent Point
They link to that old page from their announcement page:

http://www.nba.com/bulls/tickets/schedule_0607.html

So I assume it will be updated soon.

Updated Now
The schedule is on the Bulls site now.

wow
that's cool.

question about time zones though... shouldn't they auto-adjust based on where the viewer is?  cause i'm on the east coast, and they show up as central.  i dunno if that's possible, i'm a calendar newb.

Time Zones
The website doesn't allow you to set your time zone... but if you use one of the calendar applications, like Apple's iCal or Mozilla Sunbird, to download the calendars, the timezone should adjust.

Time
Speaking of time zones... I am writing this at 9:26 pm Chicago time... but the blog is going to claim I wrote it at 8:26 PM CST.  Problem Matt?

by tofferr on Aug 1, 2006 9:26 PM CDT up reply actions

yeah, likely
I think it's always been like that, hasn't it? never bothered changing it. Cant we band together across time zones?!?!?

by your friendly BullsBlogger on Aug 1, 2006 9:37 PM CDT up reply actions

hmm
i use evolution and it didn't shift the time zones.  no big deal though.

Sunbird
Hmm.  I don't know what problem you had.  It should be easy...
  1. Download from here.  Install.  Launch.
  2. Pick New Calendar from the File menu
  3. Pick remote
  4. Pick WebDav
  5. Enter URL, such as http://itoph.no-ip.com/ical/ChicagoBullsGames.ics for Bulls Games
  6. Change the name and color if desired.
Let me know if you have problems/questions.

TV Schedule
The Bulls have 21 nationally televised games on either ESPN, TNT, or ABC (plus a bunch more on NBATV).  How many did we have last season? like 2 or 3.  This is pretty exciting guys. With the addition of Big Ben, I think the rest of the nation is starting to take us seriously. Finally some respect so hopefully the refs will give us some more calls too. This is GREAT!!!!

We don't play Detroit until January
Also, 11 of the first 15 are on the road. Hopefully we Bulls fans won't be on the ledge when the team gets home from its annual November west-coast trip like in recent years.
I love Grant Park in June!! Been there six times!!!
