hurray for hasheem?

i'd literally shit myself

Star-divide

if we were able to obtain oden next year in the draft. however, the chance of obtaining oden in the 07 draft is unlikely. who else thinks that 7'3'', 265 C hasheem thabeet from uconn could be a legitimate draft pick for us next year?

The city would go nuts....
if we landed Oden.  It would probably be just 2nd to winning the championship. Yes, nothing is for sure with injuries, but with our current roster basically loaded at positions 1-4 (you would move Wallace over to PF, and Thomas would take over once Wallace is gone), This would be an AWESOME TEAM and YOUNG. DAMN. That would be great. Celtics and Lakers, watch out. Here come the Bulls again to break the all time championship record.

Tonight on Chicago Tribune
one of the guys from 640 radio (I can't remember his name)through this out there. Pax brings his brother on board who had been with Cleveland. LeBron who is with Cleveland is unsigned as yet. The radio guy said he just has a feeling that something may still be up. I don't know if I read too much into it but he seemed to think there might be something.

Start the LeBron rumors
I'm already waiting for someone to post next year's lineup as:

C Oden
PF Wallace
SF Deng
SG LeBron
PG Hinrich

I'd say that's a legit title contender.

by Mike Aparicio on Jul 6, 2006 7:54 PM CDT up reply actions

I'll project
C  Oden
PF Wallace
SF Garnett
SG LeBron
PG Hinrich

Bench
Nocioni, Deng, Gordon, Tyrus, PJ Brown, JR Smith, Bird, Magic, Olajuwon, Craig Hodges, and Jack Haley.

Dat's a minimum 8-peat, my friend!!

f^cking ridiculous
no way we land Hodges.  everything else sounds about right though.

by CookDing on Jul 7, 2006 7:24 AM CDT up reply actions

Is Jack Haley available?
Isn't he too busy partying with Rodman?

by Big D on Jul 7, 2006 8:22 AM CDT up reply actions

Well
If Jack Haley isn't available, we'll need someone else to hand out high-fives and Gatorade.  Can we call Cliff Levingston, M.L. Carr, or Ed Nealy??

by Rodmaniac on Jul 7, 2006 9:28 AM CDT up reply actions

I think we are good
where we are. I'm sure there will be more rumors to come.
