PLAYOFF game thread: Bulls-Heat Game 6

Tonight could be either a rejuvenation or a funeral for this team.

Hopefully whatever was working at home in this series continues, because anything can happen in a game 7.

Lets go Bulls!

this is disgusting...not the play of the bulls, but the in-and-out of the jumpers
teams lose games cuz of shit like this
wide open, better shot selection but...in and out

This is a hangover
from the 4th quarter in game 5.
And the Bulls are having a typical Bulls, under 20 points quarter.

But Duhon with a big spark at the buzzer!

We need a Ben Gordon game
and as i type that title he drives right to the rim and passes it off.

not noticing the pink elephant in the corner
Focusing too much on the Bulls offensive woes, maybe if their defense was a little better it wouldn't look as bad.
I can't imagine what Miami's 3pt% is!

66.7%
6 of 9 from 3 for Miami.  59.3% overall.

That won't get it done.

Hinrich
is at least starting to attack the basket now. only 1 foul on shaq though...

8-0 run by the heat. i refuse to believe its just a coincidence that our 1-3 spots are filled by hinrich/duhon/pargo

Duhon
I hope it's HIS last game in a Bulls uniform. Why would anyone even bother guarding him anymore, he has zero desire (or ability) to shoot

by your friendly BullsBlogger on May 4, 2006 9:00 PM CDT reply actions

praise
The Bulls' backs are against the wall, and all year we have praised their ability to not give up in any situation. This is the most important of those situations.
Do the Bulls have the mettle to go on a run and make this a game, or do they fold under the already enormous but still mounting pressure?
I love Grant Park in June!! Been there six times!!!

When's the draft lottery?

by Mike Aparicio on May 4, 2006 9:22 PM CDT reply actions

only good thing about this series
gordon and hinrich are learning how to drive.  or at least that they need to drive and actually finish.

by Sambossanova on May 4, 2006 9:23 PM CDT reply actions

this game has every bulls problem in stark relief
rebounding down the stretch
lazy fouls leading to 3pt plays
to's at the worst times
no answer for shaq
not finishing at the rim
etc etc etc
I love Grant Park in June!! Been there six times!!!

by james@lifeinthecell on May 4, 2006 9:29 PM CDT reply actions

What a shame.
What a buzzkill.

I hate the last game of the season.

This one really sucked.  To lose in a blowout at home.  With Walker being a prick.  Ouch.

Well, looking forward to all the offseason action.

And, seriously, when is the draft lottery?

by preverbal on May 4, 2006 9:29 PM CDT reply actions

woah!!!
its pargo time
I love Grant Park in June!! Been there six times!!!

by james@lifeinthecell on May 4, 2006 9:30 PM CDT reply actions

Its simple
We're too small.  Live by the jumper, die by the jumper.

Its not news.  We've known this all year.  Now let's go get some size and  . . . wait 'til next year.

by preverbal on May 4, 2006 9:31 PM CDT reply actions

u know its over when its pargo-time
haha he thinks hes some kinda jordan after last years crazy performance

by Sambossanova on May 4, 2006 9:32 PM CDT reply actions

Let the platitudes begin...
Let's hope this makes the Bulls (Tyson, I'm talking to you) hungry going into next year.
Draft big, sign big, get big.
Ben, get some handles!
Duhon, Harrington, get lost.

Great blogging season too!
The last month has been the best thing since the MJ years, and it's been cool to have an outlet to share thoughts and joy and pain with you other Bulls fans.
And thanks as well to Matt for running a great blog.

C-ya at the lottery, and go you little ping-pong balls.

Thanks Matt!!
I didn't find this blog until just recently but have enjoyed all of you guys and your comments. I don't know as much about basketball as you guys and didn't have much to offer but I loved reading what you had to say.
