Listening to the radio this am, espn1000, they had on Tim Legler and he said Wallace will leave the Pistons and the the Bulls would be the team that has the best chance to land him. If the Pistons lose that would be the nail. He said the Bulls are a young up start team that would fit Wallace's style of play. Pistons maybe on the decline seeing how they are not going to get much younger. It would only make sence to move on rather than be stuck on an old has-been team losing.
Ok well that got me pumped up. I mean it does sound logical. If the Pistons do lose to Miami which looks so far, with Miami taking home court away like a possiblity then why wouldn't he take all that money the Bulls have and play for a young hungery team. So if this were to be true that Wallce does motor to Chicago then who do they draft? Im going crazy thinking of the different combos the Bulls could do. Do you trade chandler? Do you still draft a Thomas or Aldrige?
I wish free agency was before the draft. The Bulls could be stacked next season if Wallace signs with the Bulls. He still wouldn't solve the Post offense nor would Tsquared. It would be a sick front court though. Wallace, Chandler, Thomas.
You could always slide Nocioni in the 4 spot. LBJ would have his hands full trying to get to the Basket for the next few years. I wouldn't see anything wrong with going with out a legit offensive post presence for one year. Who knows maybe the Bulls get very lucky and swap the the Knicks and land Oden? Well whats wrong with dreaming? And I dream.........
Hinrich 12/ Duhon 21
Gordon 7/ 16TH PICK?
Deng 9/ Nocioni 5
Wallace 6/ Thomas 11
Oden 34/ Chandler 3 That would be unreal...knock on wood.
